Recent Success

Our more recent success stories rest with Ch Oakring Double Whisky of Belcrum, Ch Greencourt Song of the Mist at Belcrum (Top Clumber Spaniel 1998 and Field Trial placings), Ch Belcrum The Wee Pickle Tow, Sh Ch Foulby Wild Bird at Tavirosh;  Ch Clumbalier Nut Brown Maiden at Tavirosh; Sh Ch Belcrum Another Angus;  Am Ch Belcrum Ruffian's Rant and Australian Champion Tavirosh Newky Brown.  We have sent two dogs to the United States in Am Ch Tavirosh Lincoln Green of Belcrum and Am Ch First Dawn at Tavirosh (sired by our Belcrum Golden Pheasant at Tavirosh, possibly our best dog who died before winning his third ticket.  Noth these American Champions became Top Sires in the States.
¬ Sh Ch Belcrum Another Angus and two of his sons
We are campaigning a particularly active Sh Ch Belcrum Another Angus at present, along with two of his sons, Burnchild John Barleycorn of Belcrum and Belcrum Glens of Angus.  Our two younger girls will soon be back in the ring, but our Champion, Clumbalier Nut Brown Maiden at Tavirosh is enjoying herself at home with just the occasional foray in the Field.
Maja Bubalo in Croatia, who had such success in Europe with Ch Belcrum Miss Cahoon and the late Ch Tavirosh Gray's Elegy now has (in partnership with Marjorie) Ch Belcrum Billy The Kid (a litter brother to Belcrum Bill Cody) who is winning Groups on the Continent and has just sired a super litter in the Czech Republic, making our lines even more international.
Belcrum Miss Cahoon
Maja Bubalo contacted us with news of the successful career of her Belcrum Miss Cahoon (Meggie), who was born on 30th June 1994.  Sadly, Meggie died in 2005, but her list of titles remains an impressive testimony to her quality:

We have been quite satisfied with the working record of our American Cocker Spaniels, starting with Mygilie Arthur's Lady at Sundust.

"Cindy" was a daughter of the famous Int, Am, Can & Sh Ch Pipershill King Arthur at Sundust and she became the first American Cocker to qualify in the Field for 20 years.  Our next success was "Dandy",  Boduf Fire Devil for Belcrum who not only qualified well, but won many Gundog Tests culminating in winning the ADVANCED Test and Award of Best Performance of the Day at MESS Field Day in 1997.  He also won two Certificates of Merit in actual Field Trials.  Surpassing even this was our "Poppy" who gained Field Trial placings, Certificates of Merit and was five times winner of The Advanced Test and took the top performance award on three of these occasions.
